Some Google Tricks?

  • Google Mirror? You’ve probably heard of “Google Mirror”? or probably “Google Pacman”? “Mirror Bing” ? “Google Guitar”?!?!?! These are basically a waste of time but we can’t admit they’re no fun! Type My Google in reverse elgoog for Google and im for my (because we can’t use ym as extension)… And here’s some fun stuff from Google: elgoog.im
  • Set Alarm? To set an alarm, just type set timer for followed by a number of minutes or a specific hour you’d like an alert! Just make sure the volume is on!
  • Specific Search? For a certain type of file for example a pdf document about music production, type music production filetype:pdf – Other operators that Google understands: intext:, allintext:, intitle:, allintitle:, inurl:, allinurl:, author:, location:, define:, time in:, translate:, link:  …for example: time in Spain, intext:music production, inurl:musicfiles …etc
  • Cricket Live Scores? Just type Cricket Live Score in search and this will return with complete live score of current matches!

“Autorun” a File From CD?

My friend just called me to ask me what software makes his slideshow play the moment the CD is in the PC! (autorun)… Well I thought I’d share this with you:

The most simple way to do it is to open notebook and type:

[autorun]
open=theslideshowfilename.exe

then save this text to a file named autorun.inf

Burn this autorun.inf to the root of the cd while the show file is also in the root path of the cd.

Easier than installing Nero or specific software applications to do that, don’t you think? Nassim?!

Maximize Your “Followers” On Twitter?

They would probably fix this bug in no time, so you better rush and do this! Go to your account from another account and keep pressing the “Follow” button! That is it! :)

If you don’t want to keep on pressing the button, open the JavaScript Console (Ctrl+Shift+J on Chrome) and insert the following:

setInterval(function(){ $(".user-actions-follow-button").click(); },10);

and press Enter!

TWITTER FIXED THIS MAJOR BUG!
